SEIJI FUJISHIRO EXHIBITION
 
 
   Seiji Fujishiro(1924 -) is famous for shadow pictures. He graduated from Keio Gijuku University and studied oil paintings from Genichiro Inokuma and Kazu Wakita.  Fujishiro's beautiful works, which contrast black with brilliant colours, are  modern and refined .
  This exhibition presents about 150 works.

Arts and Crafts Movement in UK and USA


 

  The Arts and Crafts Movement was a aesthetic movement  in the middle of the 19th century and continued on into the early 20th century. It started in England and spread throughout the UK, America and Europe.This movement was lead by William Morris and John Ruskin.
 This exhibition is the attempt to show how this movement was developed in the UK and how it evolved in the United States of America.

Oshita Tojiro Exhibition


 

  Oshita Tojiro (1870-1911) was a watercolour painter. He had contributed to the spread of the watercolor painting art in Japan. He has visited Fukushima prefecture, and pictured beautiful landscape works.
  This exhibitions displays about 80 works of his watercolours.

Unforgettable Russia -
Masterpieces from The State Tretyakov Gallery


 

  The State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow is one of the largest museums in Russia. This museum owns over 100,000 works. This exhibition shows the masterpieces of Repin, Kramskoi, Shishkin and other representative Russian painters who were active between 1850 and the Russian Revolution.  This exhibition is an opportunity to trace the development of early-modern Russian art from realism to impressionism.

Arimoto Toshio Exhibition

 


  Arimot Toshio (1946-1985) was a painter who passed away at the young age of 38 years old.  During  his stay in  Italy,  he has fascinated the fresco painting.
  This exhibition includes oil paintings, prints, drawing and  so on.
